GoogleBot

Autonomous systems and published crawler range endpoints for Google Search and Ads products. User-triggered fetches (previews, verification, agents on user request) are not Googlebot indexing; see the short guide below for the three official crawling-hub JSON feeds. For broader non-crawler Google IPs (e.g. Apps Scripts), see goog.json below; for Google Cloud egress prefixes, use the Google Cloud Platform entry (cloud.json), not these crawler feeds.

User-triggered traffic: three official JSON feeds

  • user-triggered-fetchers.json / user-triggered-fetchers-google.json → IPs used when a user asks Google to fetch something from your site right now. Example: You paste your URL into Google Search Console "Test Live URL" or someone shares your link in Google Chat and Google fetches it to generate a preview.
  • user-triggered-agents.json → IPs used by Google's AI/agent-like systems acting like a browser on behalf of a user. Example: A user asks Google Assistant or an AI agent to "open this page and summarize it," and Google visits your site programmatically to complete that task.
Google Cloud Platform Google cloud.json prefixes for cloud infrastructure. BingBot Microsoft's crawler feed for Bingbot identity checks. OpenAI GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, and ChatGPT-User feeds. Perplexity Separate bot and user-request JSON feeds.
